As my Fellowship with the Institute for Research Software comes to an end, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on my experience, share some of the insights I've gained, highlight some of the outputs and talk about how I plan to continue this work.

To help with this, I created a series of YouTube shorts, all less than two minutes long, to explain what I've been up to over the last 18 months or so.

ConveRSE - YouTube Shorts

You can watch all six shorts below, or on my YouTube channel.

And to pre-empt your questions: yes, I know I look tired. And yes, I did record several of these videos on the hottest day of the year!

I should also reiterate that the SSI announced that they were rebranded to the Institute for Research Software about 20 minutes after I finished recording the last video!

Final Thoughts

As I said, I am planning to continue working on the ConveRSE project. I have some exciting collaborations lined up with other Institute Fellows and other members of the research software community. I will be sharing more about these collaborations in the coming months.

And as I mention in the shorts, I am planning to create at least one longer video to do more of a deep dive into the insights and data I collected during my fellowship. I may also make some more shorts in the future, if I have time, focussing on some of the tips and stories that I collected during my travels.

In the mean time, check out the rest of the website for more information about ConveRSE, mental health support and advice, and our downloadable resources to continue the conversation in your workplace.

Thanks for reading. Mind how you go!
